INTRODUCTION

By using this card, the cardholder agrees to comply with the regulations and laws of the International Visa Center and accepts the terms and conditions set by the Joint Development Bank, the issuer of the card.


DEBIT CARD AGREEMENT: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

As a Dubai Card customer, you agree to the following terms governing the use of your debit card:

  1. Compliance: You agree to abide by the Bank’s rules and regulations regarding card usage and electronic fund services.
  2. Card Ownership: The Card remains the property of the Bank and must be surrendered upon request. It is non-transferable. Do not share your Card or PIN with anyone. If someone else uses your Card and PIN, you are responsible for all transactions until you notify the Bank to cancel and replace your Card.
  3. Transaction Refusal: The Bank may refuse a transaction if:
    • Your Card is reported lost or stolen.
    • Your Card is canceled, revoked, or your account is closed.
    • The transaction exceeds your available account balance.
    • Unusual activity is detected on your account.
  4. Service Changes: The Bank may cancel or modify Card services at any time without notice, except as required by the Federal Electronic Funds Transfer Act.
  5. Bank Liability: The Bank’s liability for incomplete transactions is limited, as outlined in the “Financial Institution’s Liability” section of the Electronic Fund Transfers disclosure.
  6. Security: Never enter your PIN at suspicious ATMs or devices.

LIMITS AND TRANSACTIONS

  1. Point-of-Sale Transactions: Use your Debit VISA Card to:
    • Purchase goods or pay for services in person, online, or by phone.
    • Withdraw cash from merchants or participating financial institutions if permitted.
  2. Transaction Limits:
    • Payment Limit: Transactions are limited to the available balance in your checking account.
    • ATM Withdrawals: Daily limit is $3,000; individual ATMs may have lower limits.
  3. Advisory Against Illegal Use: Do not use your card for illegal gambling or unlawful transactions. Display of a payment card logo does not guarantee legality in all jurisdictions.

FEES

  1. Replacement Fees:
    • Charges may apply for replacing lost or stolen debit cards.
  2. ATM Fees:
    • Fees may be charged by ATM operators or networks when using ATMs not owned or operated by the Bank.
    • Fees may also apply for balance inquiries without completing a transaction.

UNAUTHORIZED TRANSFERS

  1. Reporting Loss or Theft:
    • Notify the Bank immediately if your card or PIN is lost or stolen, or if unauthorized transactions occur.

  2. Liability:
    • You may lose all funds in your account and overdraft line if you delay reporting unauthorized transactions.
    • You are liable for unauthorized transactions if gross negligence or fraud is involved.

ERROR RESOLUTION NOTICE

  1. How to Report Errors:
    • Contact support@DubaiCard.io immediately if you identify errors on your statement or receipt, or require information about a listed transaction.
  2. Timing:
    • Reports must be made within 60 days of the date the first statement showing the error was issued.
